Salsa Scene blog has joined forces with Online Salsa.com, a Netherlands-based Web site that serves as a portal for salsa news.

The partnership provides additional exposure to the salsa scene in and around the city of Philadelphia and its southern New Jersey suburbs and provides the local salsa enthusiasts with global perspective on the international salsa community (Story continues below photo).

Salsa Scene’s author Wil Shamlin and Online Salsa.com’s founder Susanne Waldau have agreed to share content and work together on projects in  coming months. Stay tuned for color photos, video clips, personal essays and reflections, and more!

Currently, Online Salsa.com has an album review and recognizes several salsa artists, including The Lebron Brothers and Gloria Estefan.

It publishes an exclusive story about a fund-raiser in Philadelphia for Haiti earthquake ictims and a contemplative article that explores the increasing popularity of bachata. And it lso includes a review of computer software that claims to improve a person’s musicality, or ability to dance to the rhythm of the music.
