Win passes to the 2011 Reno Bachata Festival

Entry's for the following categories will be accepted: Funniest, Social Dance Party Scene, Workshop Review & Performance. ***Please see contest rules and conditions***

1. All video submissions must have the following information included
Your Name
Your E-Mail Address
Category
Name(s) of People included in the video and their website links
(this is mandatory for Performances and Workshops)
The date, time and location the video was recorded.

For the Workshop Review category:
Videos may only be comprised of “Instructor Review”
and must be tagged with the Instructors and Title of the workshop

1There is no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted by any entrant, nor is there a limit to the number of categories you may enter.

2If any information is missing, the submission may be disqualified

3All Entries must be received no later then 1-17-2010 to be considered

4Voting will begin on February 1st. People may vote one time a day for as many times as they want for as many videos as they please. The first round of voting will close on February 15th. Voting will be done by placing a comment on the video on the BachataReno YouTube channel. The top 5 in each category will be chosen. A second round will be opened up from February 19th to the 28th where people will vote for their favorite video of each category.

5Contestants may campaign for their videos

6Winners of each category will receive 2 Full Event Passes to the 3rd Annual International Reno Bachata Festival January 3rd - 9th 2011. Winners will be notified via email.

7Videos will be listed in Categories on www.YouTube.com/BachataReno

8All Entries will become the sole property of the Reno Bachata Fest. By entering a video in the contest you are giving the Reno Bachata Fest permission to use the video on the Bachata Reno website and it’s other promotional and marketing internet sites including social networking sites.

Technical Specifications
Video submissions must be:

one of the following file formats: .avi, .dv, .mov, .mp4, .mpeg, .mpg, .wmv, Quicktime, .mpeg2, .mpeg4, h.264,3gp
Scaled to no less than 340x240 pixels
Compatible with the flash video format
The video file size must be no larger than 200MB and 10 Minutes in Length

ALSO NOTE: NO VIDEO RECORDING OR PHOTOGRAPHY OF ANY GAMING AREA IS ALLOWED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NEVADA GAMING CONTROL BOARD REGULATIONS.....

By entering this contest, the digital video creators indicate that they agree and accept the terms below:
By entering the Contest, entrant acknowledges that the Reno International Bachata Festival (herein referred to as Reno International Bachata Festival, its employees, agents, representatives, consultants and contractors) is to receive exclusive right, title, and interest in and to the video submitted by entrant for the contest, and any modifications, promotional information, derivations or improvements thereof, including any and all intellectual property rights therein. Entrant represents and warrants that he/she/it has sole and exclusive right, title and interest to such submitted video. In connection with the foregoing, entrant agrees to assign, and hereby does assign, and shall cause his/her/its affiliates and the employees, agents, representatives, consultants and contractors of entrant and his/her/its Affiliates to assign (if and as applicable), all intellectual property rights in such submitted video to Reno International Bachata Festival.

Submitters grant Reno International Bachata Festival, a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive- license to display, distribute, reproduce, and create derivative works of their submitted videos, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed. Reno International Bachata Festival, will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use.
Reno International Bachata Festival, reserves the right to contact submitters to confirm information in
the submission form or for any other purpose considered necessary.
Reno International Bachata Festival, and its affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, consultants and contractors reserves the right to disqualify applicants for failure to follow guidelines and requirements as stated above or in accordance to law.
Reno International Bachata Festival, reserves the right to cancel or modify these rules at its discretion.
Decisions of Reno International Bachata Festival, and its affiliates and the employees, agents, representatives, consultants and contractors will be final.[/i]
