You will have the opportunity to purchase some of the highest quality orchids available in the world. Many of these plants' superior breeding grants them blooms that have won awards or have the potential to do so. In other cases you will find exceptionally well grown species orchids in an authentic form just as you would find them growing in their native habitat. With every orchid purchased you'll be given an opportunity ticket and the chance to win a free orchid when you attend an orchid growing skill session to occur about every hour or so throughout the day. Orchids will range in price from $15.00-35.00 in most cases for a very nice quality plant.


ORCHID GROWING SKILL SESSIONS

Beginner Orchid Growing Skill Sessions will occur about every hour throughout the day. The themes will vary based on the specific grower's specialty area. Remember that your objective is not just to purchase an orchid but also to learn how to grow it so it will thrive under your care. We want to encourage you to do your homework so we are offering you the chance to win a free orchid if you make a purchase and then attend an entire orchid growing skill session. The opportunity orchid drawing will occur at the end of each skill session. These skill sessions are instructed by the orchid experts themselves and will give you the knowledge you need to be successful in your orchid growing endeavors. You must be present at the skill session to win the opportunity orchid drawing.


ORCHID CONSERVATION ALLIANCE BENEFIT RECEPTION
Saturday, 6:30pm-9:30pm

In past years this Orchid Conservation Alliance Benefit Reception took the form of an auction. However, we have changed the format of this event so that everyone can support the OCA regardless of their financial means. If you make a donation of $10.00 or more you will be given an opportunity ticket for a chance to win a very special rain tree pot and orchid which are valued as a package up to $90.00. You can purchase additional opportunity tickets for this drawing per every $10.00 donated. This is the only aspect of this event that has an admission fee, or suggested minimum donation of $10.00. All proceeds benefit the OCA to support orchid habitat conservation. This event may include complimentary Godiva Chocolates and wine tasting.
