FRIDAY MAY 20Salsa: Greg Bachaterov & Morgan Campbell
Bachata: Greg Bachaterov & Morgan Campbell
Greg (Palo Alto)
Greg is a teacher, performer, choreographer, and a performance team and dance school director who has performed locally and internationally. Trained as a child in ballet and Russian folk dances, Greg has developed a passion for social dances like Salsa and Bachata while in graduate school. After helping to build a Bachata community and teaching Salsa and Bachata in Toronto, Canada during 2008-2010 he moved to Bay Area in January 2011. He is now sharing his passion for dancing and altruism by teaching Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and organizing dance socials for various humanistic causes at Stanford. These socials are open to everyone free of charge. Greg’s fun-filled classes focus on musicality, fusion of different dance styles, deep partner connection, and development of social dancing skills. When Greg is not dancing he is in the lab doing cancer diagnostics research at Stanford or in the campus gym playing basketball.
Morgan Campbell (Sonoma)
Morgan Campbell’s thriving passion for music and dance began before she can remember. Beginning dance, gymnastics, and piano at age 5 only led her to follow these paths as she grew up. Morgan began learning salsa in 2003 with JAS Dance in Santa Rosa and at Sonoma Dance Academy. After joining Sangre Latina in 2008 she really began to diversify her Latin and Ballroom dance styles including Cha-Cha, Merengue, Bachata, and more. After three years of dancing and performing with Sangre Latina she recently joined the Ricasalsa crew in San Francisco. Outside of her rigorous Salsa training she continues to take jazz, modern, hiphop, and yoga classes as well. She is a very patient and upbeat dancer, looking to deepen the dance community and share her passion with as many as she can.

FRIDAY MAY 27Salsa: Anthony Littlebear
Bachata: Jose Andrade & Tatiana Kanaeva
Anthony Littlebear (San Jose)
Anthony Littlebear was born in San Jose Ca, to a Native American Father, and an Italian Mother. Through his Native American culture, he learned indigenous dance, and ceremonies. This pulls him in the direction of Afro Cuban dance. The Bay Area's salsa influence has formed him into a salsero/rumbero. He draws his dance influences from Italian dancers, such as Fernando Sosa, Maykel Fonts, Johnny Vasquez, Aguanile, Alien Ramirez, Wilmer, and Frankie Martinez. His classes are designed to be on the technical side, to give you the best chance of getting the most information possible. His time is spent dancing with most of our local salsa dance companies, gives him an understanding of how to compliment our culture, with more traditional afro flavor, which the bay area is lacking in at this time. Salsa dancing, has been a great source of happiness for him, and he hopes to give you as many of my secrets as possible, so that you too can be uplifted into this Latin/Afro culture with much success. For those of you who have been taking his classes for the past 6 years, look forward to an ever evolving, ever improving curriculum.
Jose Andrade (Morgan Hill)
Jose's Bachata journey began 2 years ago at Miraido Studio. After graduating from college, he decided to take up salsa dancing and began to attend classes regularly at the studio. It was at this time he was first exposed to Bachata. Jose fell in love with the music and dance right away and has continually made efforts to improve his Bachata social dancing skills ever since. Jose is currently a member of Team Rodchata, a Bachata dance team headed by Rodney “Rodchata” Aquino. Along with Team Rodchata, he performed at the 2011 Reno Bachata Festival, and has performed at other Bachata events in San Francisco and Sacramento. Jose also enjoys dancing salsa and merengue, and listens to Hip Hop, R&B, and Classical music in his free time.
