Scissor Hop & Sweeps

123: Forward basic.

5: Right foot, rear-left cross step. Wide.
(Take a big step and make the cross step wider instead of near to each other.)
6: Left foot, left cross step.
(From the cross position, left foot steps directly in front of right foot about a foot or so away.)
7: Left foot, foot replace.
(Replace the left foot back in the cross step that you orginally had it at.)

1: Right foot, forward cross step.
(The right leg is brought in front of the left leg, close.)
2: Left foot, forward cross step.
3: Left foot, left side sweep.
(Sweetp the left leg so that it ends up straight and to the left. Your right knee is bent.)

Scissor Hop
5: Bring the the feet together in a cross step, with your body facing right, by hopping slightly so that you can bring the legs together. Feet distributed between both feet.
6: Outward hop. Now open the cross step by hopping so that both feet move away from each other at shoulder length.
7: Inward hop, with weight more on the left foot.

1: Right foot, Left cross step.
2: Left leg, left side sweep.
(Left leg straight, right knee bent.)
3: Left foot, rear-right cross step.

567: Back basic.

5: Weight transfer from left foot to right foot, with the right foot stepping back slightly.

A Hop, A Slide, A Travelling Turn!

Box & Hop
1: Left foot, right cross step, step in front of other leg.
2: Right foot, right side step.
3: Left foot, back step.

5: Right foot, left cross step, step behind other leg.
6: Left foot, left forward-diagonal step.
7: Hop.
(Push off freom the left foot and hop with both feet.)

Slide
1: Left foot, right cross step, step in front of other leg.
2: Right foot, wide-right side step.
(Take a bigger step than usual for the slide by bending the knees more.)
3: Right slide w/ left leg.
(To slide, pull the left leg to the right foot.)

Travelling Turn
5: Left foot, left side step.
67: Outside travelling turn.
(With the right foot, step and turn right until you face forward.)

123: Basic Step.

Right Cross Steps

6: Left foot, right-forward cross step.
7: Right leg, low kick

&: Right foot replace.

Facing left of the slot, while cross-stepping forward in the slot
1: Left leg, left swing around so that you are facing left of the slot.
2: Right foot, right lock step.
3: Left foot, right lock step.

5: Right foot, right lock step.
67: Right foot, Hook turn to face forward in slot.

Box & Hops

123: Basic.

567: Left-side box.
(5: Right foot, back step.)
(6: Left foot, left-forward-diagonal step.)
(7: Right foot, right-forward-diagonal step.)


123: Right side-steps to hop.
(1: Left foot, front cross step.)
(2: Right foot, right side step, prep for hop.)
(3: Air hop with legs-reversed landing. Pushing off from the right foot, hop straight up and land with the right leg in front of the left leg in a cross step, with weight on the right foot.)


567: Left cross-hop to Left foot, flutter steps.
(5: Right foot, push-off for hop. Hop towards the left and land with the left leg in front of the right in a cross step. Land with weight on the left foot.)
(6: Right foot, right side step.)
(7: Left foot, flutter step. With the left foot off the ground, flutter the foot from right to left quickly before stepping forward for the basic.)

Slide-Back Flare

Forward basic to Cross-body stance
1: Left foot, forward step.
2: Right foot, weighted step.
3: Left foot, back step to face left.
(Shoulder length step, shoulders and head facing left from slot.)

Left facing, Cross steps (remain facing left)
5: Right foot, rear cross step.
(The right leg steps behind the left leg while facing left from the slot.)
6: Left foot, rear cross step.
(Face the same direction as the previous step.)
7: Right foot, right side step.
(From the last position, the right leg steps right, but forward in the slot.)

Forward step, slide-back flare
1: Left foot, Forward step in slot.
(Turn to face forward in the slot.)
2: Right foot, all weight on the right foot for slide-back.
3: Slide-back w/ flare.
(While turning left to face left from the slot, push off from the right foot and land back with the left foot. Then, slide the right foot towards the other leg while the arms are flared.)

567: Back basic.

Side Sweeps, Kicks, & Forward Sweeps

Side Pops
1: Left foot, left side pop.
(With the right knee bent, the left leg is out to the left side and straight.)
2: Left foot brought to right foot for right side pop.
(With the height remaining the same, bring the left foot to the right foot.)
3: Right foot, right side pop.
(with the left knee bent, the right leg is out to the right side and straight.)

Left side pop & forward kick
5: Left foot, left side pop.
6: Left foot, forward cross kick.
(Standing straight on the right leg, kick the left leg forward and to the right while the right hand flares at the same direction as the leg.)
7: Left foot, rear cross step.

Forward & Back Side Pops
&: Right foot, rear cross step.
1: Left foot, forward leg pop.
(While facing forward diagonal-right, the left leg is out and forward in the slot with the right knee bent. The right hand is behind your back.)
2: Tranisiton step between left foot and right.
3: Right foot, rear leg pop.
(With the left knee bent, the right leg is out and to the right side and straight, while facing diagonal-forward-right.)

&: Right foot, forward kick.
(Turn and face forward in slot.)

567: Back basic.
