Cross-Steps & Lock-Steps

1: Left foot, small side step.
(From the feet being side by side, the left foot taps to the side with all weight on the right leg.)

2: Both feet, shoulder-length step.
(From the last position, hop slightly up so that you can step down with both feet on the ground.)

3: Cross-step hop. (From the last position, hop slight up so that you bring your legs into a cross step. Have your hips face diagonally left, the left leg is behind the right leg.

5: Left foot, backwards lock step.
6: Right foot, backwards lock step.
7: Left foot, backwards lock step.

1: Forward hop, cross step. (After taking a hop forward, have the Left leg in front of the right in a cross step. Hips face forward.)
23: Right knee, up and swivel. (Bringing the right leg forward, lift the knee up left, swivel it to the left and bring it down. Make sure the knee does not go higher than hip level. Bring down at shoulder level.)
&: Right leg, kick forward. (Make sure the right foot does not go any higher than the left knee's level.)
567: Back basic.
