Walk-Around to Passing Turns

123 - Right under-arm step for turn prep.
567 - Crossbody, inside turn wrap.
123 - Walk-around.
567 - Right turn and inside turn.

Crossbody Wrap to Leader's Neck Lock

Start - Open hold.

123 - Crossbody prep.
567 - Crossbody, inside turn wrap-check.
Leader pulls follower into a left wrap, stops them part way.
123 - Prep for turn.
567 - Double outside turn to leader's neck check.
Leader turns, releases left hand hold and turns so that the right hand still holds the follower's left, thus wrapping partially around neck. Left hand holds onto follower's free right hand.
123 - Prep for crossbody outside turn.
Leader steps forward and lifts the right handed hold off of neck.
567 - Crossbody traveling outside turn.
123 - Basic
Notes: This is a rather fast pattern, take time to view the video. The written description for this pattern is a bit complex to explain.


Dim lights

Start - Open hold.

123 - Crossbody lead prep.
567 - Crossbody lead to single-armed turn-out position.
End with only the leader's left hand holding the follower's right hand.
123 - Open break to half inside turn, with check.
Leader turns follower with the left, so that the follower ends to their right, and stops the follower by having the right hand on the follower's left shoulder blade.
567 - Half walk-around to shadow position.
Leader does a hug-n-pull on the follower so that they move into a 3-count crossbody lead. Leader ends with their back to the follower, still connected with their left hand.
123 - Basic step with hand drop.
Leader steps forward while follower steps back, a true basic step. As leader steps forward, leader releases follower's right hand and drops it into their right hand. Leader finishes by stepping back so they are to the side of the follower, the follower's right behind them.
567 - Travelling left/inside turn.
Leader pulls and turns follower's left hand into a travelling left turn into the slot.
123 - Basic.

Rabbit Hole to Leader's Tunnel

Start - Open hold.

123 - Open break to inside turn wrap.
Leader pushed follower away and pulls follower into a left turn, with the follower's right hand, so that they end to the right of the leader.
567 - Rabbit hole.
Leader nudges follower down so that they step back and through the arm hold. Leader turns to face follower.
123 - Basic.
567 - Outside turn to open hold position.
Leader turns follower so that they return to an open hold.
123 - Basic.
567 - Basic.
123 - Open break to tunnel prep.
Leader open breaks and pulls follower to their right with the right hand. At the same time, leader tucks down and into the arm hold.
567 - Tunnel and exit.
Leader tucks down and comes out to the left of the tunnel.
123 - Basic.
567 - Outside turn to open hold position.
Leader turns follower so that they are back to an open hold.
123 - Basic.

Dim lights

Start - Open hold.

123 - Open break to fake inside turn wrap.
Leader pulls follower with left hand into inside turn, but rather than be in a check position leader steps to the side, allowing the follower to pause briefly and continue into a outside/right turn through the slot/line for next 3 counts.
567 - Outside turn to left broken-arm position, behind leader.
Follower goes through a travelling right turn while the leader continues to hold onto the follower's left hand. Leader has to slide up close into the follower with their back towards the follower to maintain position. Leader's left hand extends so that they can hold onto the follower's right hand.
123 - Basic in-position and re-connect.
Leader prepares follower for a travelling right turn.
567 - Travelling outside turn.
Follower proceeds into a travelling turn, held by the right hand.
123 - Basic.

Start - Open hold.

123 - Open break to right side wrap.
567 - Car Wash.
(Let go of left hand hold. Lead has right foot behind left for hook turn. Do hook turn on 6-7 while pulling follower with right hand so that they do a turn also.)

Butterfly Hold to Wrap to Hammerlock

Butterfly Hold to Wrap to Hammerlock
Start - Challenge position. (No holds position.)

123 - Single cross-hold to butterfly, side slot.
(On 1, hold follower's right hand with right. On 2, bring that arm behind follower and follower will turn. On 3, hold follower's left hand with left while follower is facing towards side from slot.)
567 - Front, Inside turn wrap.
(Turn follower in with right hand, both hands still connected to follower. Wrap follower, lead goes back to facing forward within slot.)
123 - Check.
(On 1, pull follower left. On 2, pull follower right. On 3, let go of left hand hold and pull follower into hammerlock. Right hand connected to follower's right hand.)

Crossbody, Left Cartwheel Turn to Inside Turn Wrap
Start - Open hold.

123 - Lead right turn w/ linked hands to left broken-arm position.
567 - Crossbody, left cartwheel turn to lead left broken-arm position.
(Lead's right hand hold is up high, ready to turn the follower left.)
123 - Inside turn, with right hand hold, to wrap check.
567 - 1.5 Outside turn, with leader's right hand.
123 - Basic.

Cuddle & Break

Start - Open hold.

123 - Lead wrap.
(Lead pulls right arm hold across face and moves forward to wrap into follower.)
567 - Left arm head loop for hand switch. Then left turn for broken right arm. Arm fan & break.
(5: Head loop. 6: Hand switch. 7: Left turn w/ left arm fan.)
123 - Closed hold, half basic to cross-body.
567 - Cross-body lead.

Hand Pass-Over to Inside Turn Wrap
Start - Open hold.

123 - Basic.
567 - Cross-body lead.
123 - Lead half right turn.
(Let go of right hand hold, turn right to and have back to follower while standing slightly to the side of follower. During turn, switch hand hold over head from left to right hand. Bring hold to waist level.)
567 - Follower inside turn wrap.
(Pull follower forward and pull in for wrap. Followers, turn left.)
123 - Back basic (in previous position).
(Lead steps back rather than forward. Pull follower back with right hand hold so that follower knows that they need to do a basic.)
567 - Double outside turn.
(Release left hand hold, push follower out for a travelling outside turn.)
123 - Basic.
