Crossbody Pass w/ Lead Right Turn (Hand Connected)
Start - Closed hold.

123 - Crossbody prep.
567 - Crossbody pass w/ lead right turn for shadow, with left turn connection.
(After pushing and bringing the follower accross for a crossbody, the lead does a complete turn until the back is to the follower. The lead then holds the follower's left hand with their left hand, while the back is to the follower.)
123 - Lead's right hand on follower's right shoulder blade from behind.
567 - Crossbody inside turn w/ lead left turn.
(The lead pushes the follower into a left turn with the right hand while still connected to the follower with the left hand. While the follower turns the lead turns left also and ends by facing the follower.)
123 - Basic.

Side Checks w/ Flare*

Side Checks w/ Flare*
Start - Open hold.

123 - Right Side check.
(Start by bringing left hand hold accross lead & follower's face and wrap follower to right side but let go of left hand hold. Check follower with right hand at their left shoulder.)
567 - Left side check.
(Pull follower to left side with right hand. Followers, shift weight to left side. Leads, shift weight to right and check follower with left hand at follower's right shoulder.)
123 - Right check at knee.
(Lead kneels with right knee, and checks follower with right hand behind follower's left knee.)
567 - Left check at knee.
(Opposite above with lead kneeling with left).
123 - Final right wrap check at shoulder.
(Leaders stand up and check follower with both hands. Left hand on left shoulder, right hand on right shoulder.)
567 - Follower free outside turn.
(Push follower back into slot for turn. Followers, do a travelling outside turn.)
123 - Basic.

*Notes: Follower does flares during checks. Starting at 2nd right check: Right arm up, left arm up, left arm hair brush, butt wiggle, no style, then outside turn. Hands: Each of the arm up flares, thumb and middle finger touching while hand is bent down 90 degrees from forearm.

Hammerlock Position to Check Series Followed by Double Right Turns
Start - Open hold.

123 - Basic.
567 - Outside turn w/ linked hands to hammerlock position.
(Bring the left hand hold up and the right hand hold to waist level. Follower is put into a right turn with a left broken-arm.)
123 - Open break, with hold switch, to reverse crossbody right broken-arm check.
(After the follower is pushed away for the open break, the lead releases both hands so that the right hand is able to connect with the follower's right hand for a cross hold. The lead then pulls the follower into a half left turn so that the follower ends in a left broken-arm check. Lead's left hand holds follower's left hand. Lead is to the left of the follower)
567 - Push-back for check.
(Lead pulls follower's left hand so that they go into a half right turn, back into the slot. Hands remain connected. You are now in a cross hold.)
123 - Pull-back for check.
(Similar to the first open break, the lead pulls the follower into a right broken-arm from a half left turn. After the lead pulls the follower back in to the broken-arm check, the lead moves to be in front of the follower and releases the right hand hold. The lead keeps the follower's left arm extended with the left hand.)
567 - Double right hook turn.
(Lead initiates right hook turn by placing the right foot behind the left leg, transfers the weight onto the right foot and pushes off the left. Turn twice and face the follower.)
123 - Basic step, lead reconnects with the follower in open hold.
567 - Double outside turn.
(Turn is initiated by bringing the right hand up and pushing the follower into the turn with the left hand.)
123 - basic.

Cross Shoulder Checks
Start - Open hold.

123 - Open break to slot underarm step.
(As follower comes back in from break, lead brings follower's right arm behind neck while bringing right hand to follower's left shoulder.)
567 - Outside shoulder turn w/ shoulder check.
(Letting go of left hand hold, lead pulls follower's left shoulder into outside turn but stops follower just short of completing turn with right hand.)
123 - Inside shoulder check & flare.
(With right hand still on follower's left shoulder, pull follower into check but lead turns right and checks with the left hand on follower's right shoulder. Both partners should be almost back to back.)
(Flare: At this point, with lead's left hand on follower's right shoulder, lead flares right arm out and faces right.)
(Follower's flare: At this point, follower's right hand is at the waist with left arm straight out in a flare. Left knee is point to the side with right knee facing directly away from lead.)
567 - Travelling outside turn.
(With left hand still on follower's right shoulder, lead pulls follower into a turn and turns left to face follower. It is possible for follower to travel during turn.)
123 - Basic.

Start - Single cross hold.

123 - Open break to broken-arm check w/ reconnect.
(With the right hand, the lead pulls the follower in and turns them left into a broken arm. The lead then holds the follower's left hand.)
567 - Lead right turn tunnel.
(Bringing the left hand hold up, the lead goes through this arm hold and turns right to face the follower. Lead slides right hand hold away from self.)
123 - Basic.
(Holds remain connected)
567 - Outside turn exit.
123 - Basic.
