Shines

1: Left foot, front right cross tap.
(Left leg steps accross and in front of right leg. Feet are side by side with each other.)
2: Left foot, back right cross tap.
(Left foot is brought behind right leg in a cross step. Feet side by side.)
3: Right leg, right side sweep.
(Weight is transferred to left foot, right leg then sweeps out to a side step with weight still on left foot.)

5: Right foot, back left cross step.
(Right foot continues sweep so that right leg ends up behind left leg.)
6: Left foot, back right cross step.
(Left foot is brought behind right leg in a cross step. Feet side by side.)
6 and 1/2: Forward lock step.
(At this half way point, right foot steps forward while staying in cross step.)
7: Forward lock step.
(While in cross step, left foot steps forward while staying in cross step.)

Start - Open hold.

123 - Open break to fake inside turn wrap.
Leader pulls follower with left hand into inside turn, but rather than be in a check position leader steps to the side, allowing the follower to pause briefly and continue into a outside/right turn through the slot/line for next 3 counts.
567 - Outside turn to left broken-arm position, behind leader.
Follower goes through a travelling right turn while the leader continues to hold onto the follower's left hand. Leader has to slide up close into the follower with their back towards the follower to maintain position. Leader's left hand extends so that they can hold onto the follower's right hand.
123 - Basic in-position and re-connect.
Leader prepares follower for a travelling right turn.
567 - Travelling outside turn.
Follower proceeds into a travelling turn, held by the right hand.

Reverse Tunnel, Followed by Outside Turn
Start - Open hold.

123 - Lead half left turn step, w/ linked hands, into wrap for tunnel.
(To execute, lead bings right hand up high while left hand hold is kept at waist/chest level. Lead turns left into hold for wrap but is ready for tunnel. Lead continues step by going through hold and prep follower for turn by bringing hands up. Follower and lead switch places in slot.)
567 - Outside turn.
(Lead puts follower into a right turn.)
123 - Basic.

Tornado Walk-Around

Tornado Walk-Around
Start - Reverse cross hold.

123 - Crossbody prep.
567 - Crossbody, half outside turn, with linked hands to right broken-arm position.
(With the right hand low and the left hand hold high, lead brings follower into a right turn.)
123 - Prep for crossbody inside turn w/ linked hands.
567 - Crossbody, half inside turn w/ linked hands to check.
(While the follower remains in a right broken-arm through the turn, the lead turns the follower in a half left turn. The follower and lead will end with the right arm accross the follower's stomach and the left arm holding the follower's left arm out to their left side. The follower continues to be in a right broken arm.)
123 - Lead walk-around while bringing follower's left arm into a broken-arm.
(In the last step, the lead was behind and slightly to the right of the follower. For this step, the lead steps over in front of the follower and ends on their left side. At the same time the lead brings the follower's left arm behind so that both of the follower's arms are in a broken-arm position. Lead's right arm is in front of the follower.)
567 - Inside turn check, with links hands from last hold.
(Without letting go, the lead checks the follower with the right forearm going accross the follower's upper chest. The leader does not release the holds on the follower's hands.)
123 - Pull-back from check with hold switch.
(The leader pulls the follower into a right turn with the right hand and releases the left hand hold. Once the follower is done turning and facing the lead, the leader holds the follower's left wrist with the left hand while the right hand releases the hold. From here, prep the follower into a travelling outside turn.)
567 - Travelling outside turn.
(The leader pulls the follower into a right turn, accross from them.)
123 - Reconnect for basic step.

Start - Cross hold.

123 - Crossbody prep.
567 - Crossbody outside turn (on lead's left hand) to left broken arm.
(Lead releases right hand hold and turns follower with left hand.)
123 - Crossbody prep.
567 - Crossbody inside turn, for unlock, with lead left hook turn w/ left hand connected. Lead continues to turn to next count.
123 - Lead left turn to connect right hand to follower's left wrist. prep for free turn.
567 - Travelling inside turn.
123 - Reconnect for basic.

Eight Figure Turn

Eight Figure Turn
Start - Single cross hold. (Lead's right to follower's left.)

123 - Lead left turn for single hold shadow.
(Lead does half inside turn while having follower's arm still held under arm. Left hand moves to follower's left hip.)
567 - Free outside turn.
(Lead lets go of right hand hold and turns follower with left hand while lead continues left turn.)

Start - Open hold.

123 - Lead Half-Right turn w/ single left-hand hold.
(The lead steps right to have the back to the follower. During the turn, the lead continues to hold the follower's right hand with their left. The lead has the hold over their right shoulder.)
567 - Follower outside turn.
(From the shadow position, the lead turns the follower right by stepping to the right with the right foot, push back with the left hand so that fhe follower turns. The lead only turns left to face the follower on count 7.)
123 - Basic.

Lead Inside Turn to Arm Fan
Start - Cross hold.

123 - Lead inside turn.
(Lead initiates half of the turn by turning left. Lead must push the follower's hands up high and loose. The loose hold keeps the follower from turning.)
567 - Lead inside turn.
(Lead continues to turn left while keeping the follower's hands up high. At count 7, the lead's wrist or fingers touch the follower's wrists to prepare for the arm fan.)
123 - Arm fan.
(The lead pushes the follower's arms down in a fan motion.)
567 - Back basic.

Start - Open hold.

123 - Open break to inside turn w/ linked hands.
(Lead pulls the follower to the right and lef turns the follower with linked hands.)
567 - Lead right turn to turning prep.
(Lead turns right so that their backs are to the follower, with linked hands.Lead brings hands to right side. Lead's left arm is accross their stomach and the right hand is far out to the right, ready to turn the follower left.)
123-567 - Turning series.
(Lead continues to turn the follower left while the lead turns right w/ linked hands.)
123 - Basic.

Open Break to Back-Passing Stepped, Outside Turn
Start - Single open hold. (Leader's left hand on follower's right hand.)

123 - Open break to back-to-follower position, prepping for a reverse crossbody.
(The leader steps forward and turns to face 90 degrees to the left, so that the follower is to their
back. However, the follower continues to stay within the slot and does not turn. Leader is still connected to the follower with the left hand.)
567 - Traveling outside turn.
(Leader pulls the follower into a traveling right turn, while leader turns left 90 degrees to face the follower. single open hold position.)
123 - Lead right turn with hand hold pass and outside turn prep.
(WIth the left hand on the follower's right, the leader does a right turn and switches to a cross hold. Leader ends to face the follower in a single cross hold, ready to turn the follower.)
567 - Outside turn.
