Shines

1: Basic.
2: Basic.

5: Back, right diagonal step.
6: Forward, left diagonal step.
7: Forward, side step.
(Forward is from aspect of beginning basic. Body faces left from slot and does side step)

1: Lift left foot off ground and pivot in same place.
2: Weighted step but pivot towards left.
3: (Twist body left 90 degrees to face right, from aspect of beginning basic. Left toe faces that right, while right toe faces back)

&: Right left bends up from knee behind left leg.

5: Back step. (from aspect of beginning basic)
6: Lock step.
(Left foot steps backwards but remains in front of right and is crossed in front of it)
7: Right side step.

1: Twist body left, and move weight to left foot. Right foot is toe tapped.
2: Left foot, forward toe tap.
3: Back toe tap.

5: Left foot weighted.
6: Right foot, back toe tap.
7: Right leg, swing forward. Right calf accross left thigh.

1: Body facing right, but still within slot. Right foot back step.
2: Large step forward. (Body still facing right within slot)
3: Slide back. (Left leg slides back after right leg steps back)

5: Side basic.
6: Basic.
7: Basic.

Shines

1: Left toe, left side step. Bend knees down to lower height.
2: Weight on right foot, left body turn.
(Turn body 90 degrees to the left. Knees will naturally to to face left.)
3: Left foot, back step.
(Left foot steps back to the line of dance while body turns right slightly to compensate for step.)

5: Right foot, cross step behind left leg.
(Following previous step, turn body to face 90 degrees right from basic line. Right foot steps behind left in cross step.)
6: Left foot, open step.
(While in the same direction, left leg steps out of cross step position in open stance. The foot steps to the side rather than forward.)
7: Right foot, cross step behind left leg.
(Repeat step from above.)

1: Basic.
(Turn left 90 degrees to face forward again in line and step forward with left foot for basic.)

Forward Vine Step

1: Left foot, basic step.
2: Right foot, weighted step.
3: Left foot, back side step. (Body is turned left 90 degrees from slot.)

5: Right foot, Lift and replace. (Remain in the same position, lift the right foot off the ground and step back in the same place.)
6: Left foot, forward step with body twist. (the left foot steps forward, with the body turning to face 90 degrees to the right of the slot.)
7: RIght foot, forward cross step. (In relation to the slot, the body remains facing right while the right foot steps behind the left leg in a side cross-step.)

1: Left foot, basic step. (Turn the body to face forward again and do the basic step.)

Right Side, Hop Steps

1: left foot, step forward and turn right 90 degrees. The right foot also toe taps behind the left leg.
2: Right foot, shoulder step. (Bring the right foot back to the side while you continue to face the same direction.)
3: Left foot, toe tap. Similar to earlier, the left toe taps behind the right leg.

&: Left turn, 180 degrees. (Bring the left foot back to the side, and pivot so that you turn 180 degrees left to face the opposite direction.)

5: RIght foot, left toe tap. (After turning, step with the right foot and have the left foot toe tap behind the right leg.)
6: Left foot, shoulder step. (Bring the left foot back to the side while you continue to face the same direction.)
7: Left foot, right toe tap. (The left toe taps behind the right leg.)

123 - Basic. (Turn right to face forward in the slot and start with a forward basic step.)

Side Steps & Toe Taps

123: Shoulder shimmies.

5: Right foot, rear cross toe tap. (Weight is still on the left foot.)
6: Right foot, back toe tap and step.
7: Left foot, slide + pull in for toe tap.

123: Forward basic to crossbody lead. (Step and turn to face 90 degrees left.)

Cross Step Series (While facing 90 degrees left from slot)

5: Right foot, rear-left cross step.
6: Left foot, front-right cross step.
7: Right foot, right shoulder step.

123: Forward basic.

5: Right foot, front toe tap.
6: Right foot, rear cross toe tap.
7: Left foot, push and slide back, ending position is knees bent, left toe facing forward and right toe facing 90 degrees right from slot.

&: Right foot, forward kick.

Basic & Shoulder Step
5: Right foot, back basic.
6: Left foot, left-forward diagonal step.
7: Right foot, right side step.

1: Left foot, right-forward cross toe tap.
2: Left foot, left side step.
3: Right foot, weighted step with right hip twist.
(Twist hips to face 90 degrees from slot.)

&: Left hip twist.

Lock Steps
5: Right foot, rear slot step.
6: Left foot, forward lock step.
7: Right foot, forward lock step.

Travelling Cross Steps

1: Left foot, left side step.
2: Right foot, front cross step. (Right foot steps in front of left leg to the left.)
3: Left foot, left rear-diagonal step.

5: Right foot, move foot next to left foot.
6: Left foot, front cross step.
7: Right foot, right side-step.

1: Left foot, right cross step.
2: Right leg, right air kick.
3: Right foot, rear cross step.

&: (Turn left to face 90 degrees from left) Left leg, swing over for rear cross step.

5: (Still facing left from slot) Continuation from last count.
6: (Still facing left from slot) Right foot, Forward (forward in the slot) cross step.

123: Turn forward for basic.

Helicopter to Outside Turn

Helicopter to Outside Turn
Start - Cross hold.

123 - Basic.
567 - Outside turn with linked hands.
123 - Helicopter.
(With hands still connected, step to left of follower into a travelling shadow. Walk in a circle with back to follower. Followers walk with leader in the circle. Lead ends up 180 degrees from beginning slot. Lead ends by exiting box by bringing right hand old off shoulder and turns left to face follower.)
567 - Outside turn with linked hands.
123 - Basic.

Helicopter to Right Head Duck to Outside Turn
Start - Cross hold.

123 - Basic.
567 - Outside turn w/ linked hands.
123 - Helicopter.
(With hands still connected, step to left of follower into a travelling shadow. Walk in a circle with back to follower. Followers walk with leader in the circle. Lead ends about 180 degrees from beginning slot.)
567 - Lead right turn in helicopter.
(Lead steps with left leg accross right leg. On 6, lead turns right while maintaining the hold with follower. Lead does not release hold.) 123 - Right Head Duck.
(While maintaining holds, lead ducks down and right of follower's left hand. After ducking and coming back up, lead brings follower's hands up to prepare for outside turn w/ linked hands.)

567 - Outside turn w/ linked hands.

Lead Side Wrap to Walk-Around w/ Style

tart - Open hold.

123 - Open break to Lead side wrap.
(The lead, by count 3, the lead stepped forward and turns left 90 degrees in a right side wrap with the follower. To get into the wrap, the lead brings the right hand hold accross the body left while turning, and brings the arm hold over the head and down to the waist level.)
567 - Walk-around in side wrap.
(While in the side wrap, the lead walks sideways in a clockwise direction while pulling the follower with the right hand. It is important for the lead to keep the right arm against the body while pulling. The follower simply walks forward to follower the lead.)
123 - Walk-around with lead body twist.
(While still walking sideways, on 1 the lead turns their body to the right a good 45 degrees. On 2, the lead turns to the left 15 degrees. On 3, the lead turns back to the left, pass the original position by a couple of degrees. The lead and the follower should form a somewhat flat 'U'.)
567 - Outside turn.
(The lead releases the left hand hold and cranks the follower into a right turn.)
123 - Basic.
