7: Aerial step to landing (both feet land) facing diagonal forward right.

1: Forward hop with left foot, with simultaneous right behind left toe tap. Body facing right from slot.
2: Open stance. Still facing right. Right leg bent and facing right, left leg straight and to side of body. Right foot weighted.
3: Still facing right. Left quickly moves to where right foot is. Right leg breaks out to side step.

5: Face forward. Forward cross step.
6: Weighted step.
7: Back step.

123: Outside Turn. (Right turn)

5: Right foot, right, side toe tap.
6: Right foot, front toe tap.
7: Right foot, right, side toe tap.

1: Right foot, left, cross step.
(Right foot crosses in front of left foot)
2: Pivot left.
3: Pivot left, face right from beginning slot.

5: Right foot, front (from slot), cross step.
6: Pivot step. Weight on left foot.
7: Inside turn to face forward. (Left turn)

1: Open flare.*
2: Pull left foot back.
3: Right foot, front cross step.
(Right leg is in front of left leg, body faces forward)

5: Basic.
6: Basic.
7: Basic.

*Notes: Open sideways within slot, basically facing right. Right knee bent, left leg straight. Arms flared out sideways within slot. Palms are opened up.

Shines

(You are facing back at this point.)

(You are facing forward at this point and right leg is behind left leg.)

1: Left foot, forward lock step.
(Leg remains locked in and steps forward while remaining in front of right leg.)
2: Right foot, forward lock step.
(Maintain the lock position from above.)
3: Left foot, forward lock step.

5: Right foot, back right diagonal step Basic.
6: Left foot, forward left diagonal step Basic.
7: Right foot, basic.

Shines

Note: With the exception of the first basic step, the shines have the dancer's body facing left from the beginning basic that is, the beginning basic has the dancer facing in any forward direction.

1: Left foot, forward step basic.
2: Right foot, weighted step basic.
3: Left foot, Open step. While turning body to face left, left foot steps shoulder length.

5: Left cross step.
(Right leg is crossed behind left leg by stepping behind the left leg.)
6: Right cross step.
(At this point, left leg is in front of the right leg. Left leg steps behind right leg in cross step.)
7: Right foot, Open step. While body remains facing left, right foot steps shoulder length in open step.

1: Left foot, Forward basic step.
(Dancer turns body right to face forward again in basic.)

Forward Vine Step

1: Left foot, basic step.
2: Right foot, weighted step.
3: Left foot, back side step. (Body is turned left 90 degrees from slot.)

5: Right foot, Lift and replace. (Remain in the same position, lift the right foot off the ground and step back in the same place.)
6: Left foot, forward step with body twist. (the left foot steps forward, with the body turning to face 90 degrees to the right of the slot.)
7: RIght foot, forward cross step. (In relation to the slot, the body remains facing right while the right foot steps behind the left leg in a side cross-step.)

1: Left foot, basic step. (Turn the body to face forward again and do the basic step.)

Forward Grapevine & Kicks

1: Left foot, forward right cross step.
(Left leg steps and crosses right of right leg.)
2: Right foot, forward left cross step.
(Right leg steps and crosses left of left leg.)
3: Left foot, forward right cross step.

5: Right foot, forward left cross step.
6: Open stance hop.
(Hop and put feet at shoulder length while facing forward.
7: Cross Hop, Flared step.
(Hop up, bend left leg at knee to prepare for a right cross step.)

1: Left foot, right cross step.
(From last position, left foot steps down on count 1.)
2: Basic.
3: Basic.

5: Right foot, right side step.
6: Right foot, heel tap for left leg side pop.
(Pull the right heel towards the left heel, so that the left foot pops out sideways in a tap.)
7: Left foot, right cross step, forward.

1: Right foot, left cross step, foward, with body twist to face left.
2: Weighted step.
(From last position, move the weight to the left foot but remain in that same position.)
3: Right foot, shoulder length step.
(Step so that you face forward again. The feet are at shoulder length.)

5: Right foot, back basic step.

Scissor Hops & Slide-Backs

1: Forward hop in cross step.
(Hop forward but land in a cross step, with the right leg crossed in front. You are facing right in relation to the front basic.)
23: Scissor hop in position.
(In last position, the feet step out on count two but do not change the cross position. On count 3 close the step by hopping back to the original position.)

5: Right leg, forward cross step.
(Bring the right leg forward and step in front of the other leg.)
6: Left foot, back lock step.
(From last position, take a big step back from the last position.)
7: Right foot, forward step.

123 - basic.

5: Right foot, back basic.
6: left foot, forward diagonal left step.
7: Right foot, brought together to left foot.

1: Left foot, forward left diagonal tap.
&: Left foot, forward step. (You may not need to do this step)
2: Right foot, weighted step.
3: Slide back with both feet.

567 - Back basic.

Hopscotch & Horse Kicks

123: Basic step.

5: Open stance hop.
(Face forward and have feet at shoulder length apart.)
6: Cross step hop. (Right leg in front)
7: Left foot, forward step.

1: Open stance hop.
2: Cross step hop. (Right leg in front)
3: Left foot, forward step.

5: Right foot, forward step.
6: Left foot, back step. Body is turned left.
7: Right leg, heel up.
(As you step back with the left leg from the last lstep, bend the right leg at the knee so that you kick up your right heel towards the other leg but in front of it. Also remember that your body is facing left from the slot.)

123: Basic.

Scissor Hop & Sweeps

123: Forward basic.

5: Right foot, rear-left cross step. Wide.
(Take a big step and make the cross step wider instead of near to each other.)
6: Left foot, left cross step.
(From the cross position, left foot steps directly in front of right foot about a foot or so away.)
7: Left foot, foot replace.
(Replace the left foot back in the cross step that you orginally had it at.)

1: Right foot, forward cross step.
(The right leg is brought in front of the left leg, close.)
2: Left foot, forward cross step.
3: Left foot, left side sweep.
(Sweetp the left leg so that it ends up straight and to the left. Your right knee is bent.)

Scissor Hop
5: Bring the the feet together in a cross step, with your body facing right, by hopping slightly so that you can bring the legs together. Feet distributed between both feet.
6: Outward hop. Now open the cross step by hopping so that both feet move away from each other at shoulder length.
7: Inward hop, with weight more on the left foot.

1: Right foot, Left cross step.
2: Left leg, left side sweep.
(Left leg straight, right knee bent.)
3: Left foot, rear-right cross step.

567: Back basic.
