Broken-Arm Walk-Around w/ Double Right Turn-Exit For Leader
Broken-Arm Walk-Around w/ Double Right Turn-Exit For Leader
Start - Cross hold.
123 - Basic.
567 - Outside turn to broken-arm-lock position.
(With linked hands and left hand low and right hand high, lead turns follower into an outside turn so that the follower's left arm is behind their own back.)
123 - Lead walks around follower with broken-arm-lock position change.
(Lead walks around the follower to end so that they match the follower's basic steps. Lead steps left foot, right foot. This should put them to the left side of the follower. Leader walks around the follower's right side, then their back, then to their left side. At this point, the lead matches the follower's basic steps and their count. For the arms while the lead walks around the follower, brings out the follower's left arm and brings the follower's right arm back, so that the follower now ends with a right broken-arm.)
Now with Follower's Count
123 - Back basic.
(By this time, the lead is holding the follower's left hand with their right hand.)
567 - Double right turn.
(Lead steps forward with the left foot, and pushes so that they do a double right turn on the right foot. End by facing the follower.)

(Follower does one turn left within the crossbody while lead is holding follower's left hand in open hold. Follower ends with back to lead. Lead stopped follower from turning more than one turn with left hand against the back.)
123 - Left walk-around for lead.
(From the position above, The lead steps to the right of the follower and proceeds to walk to the front and then the left of the follower while remaining connected at the right hand. The lead releases this hold only when they are to the left of the follower and the left hand is out for the follower to turn on.)
567 - Inside travelling turn for follower.
123 - Basic.

Right Hook Turn to Walk-Around s & Flared Basic, w/ Finger-Tip Holds
Start - Open hold.
123 - Basic.
567 - Right hook turn, to right wrist hold by leader.
(After leader turns, leader holds the follower's right wrist from below with a leader's hand position that is thumb down.)
123 - Open break, so that follower ends to the right of the leader, but still in an open hold. Leader moves their right hand to the follower's right arm, only the finger tips the follower and not the palm.
567 - Walk-around, by leader.
(In three counts the leader walks clockwise around the follower, while still finger holding the follower's right, until ending to the left of the follower. Leader reconnects right hand hold for open hold. The leader's 7th count is with the weight on the left foot while the right foot is mid-air, ready to step back.)
123 - Flare basic step in butterfly position.
(The leader and follower both do back steps with their right feet however the leader gently pulls the follower's right arm while pushing on the left arm to cause the follower to go into a right hip turned basic step with hip flare, in a arm position that is called a butterfly position. On count 3 leader and follower's hips are back to facing forward.)
567 - Outside turn.
(Leader pulls the follower with their right hand so that the follower goes into a travelling right turn away from them. leader steps forward with the right foot to stay connected with the follower.)

(After follower steps back, lead turns right and steps for a right hook turn w/ hand release.)
123 - Reconnect for basic.

Start - Open hold.
123 - Cross body prep.
567 - Cross body inside turn w/ lead half left turn to have their back to the follower, turned from the left hand.
1 - With the back to the follower and the left hand above and behind the back, the lead releases the hold and drops the follower's hand into the right hand, placed at the right hip.
2 - Lead takes a step back with the right foot, while bringing the follower's right arm directly over their head and behind them within the slot. The lead's left hand also ends up holding the follower's left hand. End in a butterfly position. The lead releases the right hand hold.
3 - Lead's right hand ends on follower's left wrist to prep for the free inside turn.
567 - Free inside turn.
(While in the slot, the follower is pulled into a left turn from the wrist.)
123 - Basic.

(Follower releases lead's left and holds on their right.)
567 - Follower-outside-turn roll-over.
(Lead pushes the follower, with the right arm, up so that they come up, turn right, and end up on the lead's right side. During follower's move, they have their hands arounds the lead's right arm. Note: During the push-up, the lead ducks down and rotates their head to the left in contrast to the follower's moverments.)
123 - Pull follower up.
567 - Exit turn: follower turns left to face lead.
Note: For the follower to have balance during the drops, keep the body straight while the knees are bent, and have the feet at shoulder distance.

Start - Cross hold.
123 - Basic.

(With the left hand hold at follower's waist level, the lead turns the follower right to form a window with the arms. The lead must turn the follower completely. The lead is also standing to the right of the follower instead of in front.)
123 - Window entry and exit. Prepare for drop.
(While hands still connected, the lead steps into the window and out of the window by count 3. Count 1 is in, count 2 is behind the follower, and count 3 is out of the window.)
(Note: To prepare for drop, after exiting from the window, the follower's left arm is holding the lead's upper inside arm. The lead releases all holds prior to drop.)
567 - Leg drop to aerial recover.
(The lead bends the right leg while keeping the left leg straight. The lead, with the foot on the ground, drops low to the ground and jumps back up and back. The follower assists by pulling the lead up.)
