As one the leading pioneers of the romantic salsa movement, 'Ciclos' represents his biggest breakthrough in over a decade.

LOS ANGELES, USA (Reuters) -- As urban bachata act Aventura performed sold-out concerts January 20-21 at New York's Madison Square Garden and spent its 21st week atop Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, other Dominican-American acts were busy charting their own paths up from the New York underground.
