(You are facing forward at this point and right leg is behind left leg.)

1: Left foot, forward lock step.
(Leg remains locked in and steps forward while remaining in front of right leg.)

(Maintain the lock position from above.)

5: Right foot, back right diagonal step Basic.

Grape-Vine Series

1: Left foot, right cross-step, front.
(Steps accross and in front of the right leg.)
2: Right foot, right side step.
(Right foot steps to right side in open stance.)
3: Left foot, right cross-step, behind.
(Similar to 1, except step behind the right leg.)

&: Right leg, mid-air pass.
(The count connects the 3rd and 5th count with a mid-air leg fan.)

5: Right foot, left cross-step, behind.
(Similar to above, the right foot steps behind the left leg in cross step.)
6: Left foot, left side step.
(Left foot steps to left in open stance.)
7: Right foot, left cross-step, front.

1: Left foot, left side step.
2: Left travelling turn.
(Travel in a left turn by staying in the line of dance and step with the right foot after turn.)
3: Left travelling turn.
(Continue to travel in a turn by turning left and stepping down with the left foot within the line of dance.)

5: Right foot, left cross step, behind.
6: Left slide.
(The left foot steps far left.)
7: Left slide.
(slide the right foot towards the left.)

A Hop, A Slide, A Travelling Turn!

Box & Hop
1: Left foot, right cross step, step in front of other leg.
2: Right foot, right side step.
3: Left foot, back step.

5: Right foot, left cross step, step behind other leg.
6: Left foot, left forward-diagonal step.
7: Hop.
(Push off freom the left foot and hop with both feet.)

Slide
1: Left foot, right cross step, step in front of other leg.
2: Right foot, wide-right side step.
(Take a bigger step than usual for the slide by bending the knees more.)
3: Right slide w/ left leg.
(To slide, pull the left leg to the right foot.)

Travelling Turn
5: Left foot, left side step.
67: Outside travelling turn.
(With the right foot, step and turn right until you face forward.)

123: Basic Step.

Start - Open hold.

123 - Crossbody lead prep.
567 - Crossbody lead to single-armed turn-out position.
End with only the leader's left hand holding the follower's right hand.
123 - Open break to half inside turn, with check.
Leader turns follower with the left, so that the follower ends to their right, and stops the follower by having the right hand on the follower's left shoulder blade.
567 - Half walk-around to shadow position.
Leader does a hug-n-pull on the follower so that they move into a 3-count crossbody lead. Leader ends with their back to the follower, still connected with their left hand.
123 - Basic step with hand drop.
Leader steps forward while follower steps back, a true basic step. As leader steps forward, leader releases follower's right hand and drops it into their right hand. Leader finishes by stepping back so they are to the side of the follower, the follower's right behind them.
567 - Travelling left/inside turn.
Leader pulls and turns follower's left hand into a travelling left turn into the slot.
123 - Basic.

Start - Open hold.

123 - Open break to fake inside turn wrap.
Leader pulls follower with left hand into inside turn, but rather than be in a check position leader steps to the side, allowing the follower to pause briefly and continue into a outside/right turn through the slot/line for next 3 counts.
567 - Outside turn to left broken-arm position, behind leader.
Follower goes through a travelling right turn while the leader continues to hold onto the follower's left hand. Leader has to slide up close into the follower with their back towards the follower to maintain position. Leader's left hand extends so that they can hold onto the follower's right hand.
123 - Basic in-position and re-connect.
Leader prepares follower for a travelling right turn.
567 - Travelling outside turn.
Follower proceeds into a travelling turn, held by the right hand.
123 - Basic.

Hand Pass-Over to Inside Turn Wrap
Start - Open hold.

123 - Basic.
567 - Cross-body lead.
123 - Lead half right turn.
(Let go of right hand hold, turn right to and have back to follower while standing slightly to the side of follower. During turn, switch hand hold over head from left to right hand. Bring hold to waist level.)
567 - Follower inside turn wrap.
(Pull follower forward and pull in for wrap. Followers, turn left.)
123 - Back basic (in previous position).
(Lead steps back rather than forward. Pull follower back with right hand hold so that follower knows that they need to do a basic.)
567 - Double outside turn.
(Release left hand hold, push follower out for a travelling outside turn.)
123 - Basic.

Inside Turn Wrap-Check to Outside Turn Wrap-Check to Butterfly Position
Start - Cross hold.

123 - Crossbody prep.
567 - Crossbody inside turn w/ linked hands to wrap.
(Lead pulls follower into a left turn, with the right hand, until the follower faces away from them. The right arm is brought over the follower's head during the turn in order to complete the turn.)
123 - Half outside turn w/ linked hands to wrap.
(Lead turns follower into a right turn, until the the follower faces away from the lead again. Lead has to bring left arm over follower's head to complete the turn.)
567 - Unwrap without moving to butterfly position.
(The lead brings the right hand hold off the follower then the left hand off the follower to end in a butterfly position.)
123 - Outside travelling turn across slot.
(Lead pulls the follower into a right turn across them to end on the right side of the lead.)
567 - Scoop for crossbody lead.

Start - Open hold.

123 - Open break to rabbit hole.
(Break to right side wrap. Instead of stopping at wrap, lead lifts right elbow high enough where follower can go through arms. Followers end up going through arms with back going in first.)
567 - Inside free turn.
(Pull follower forward for travelling free inside turn.)
123 - Basic.

Broken-Arm Walk-Around w/ Left Turns
Start - Cross hold.


123 - Crossbody prep.
567 - Crossbody inside turn with lead's right hand.
(At end of turn, lead turns left into hold for right broken-arm. Lead does not release turn.)
123-567 - Left walk-around.
(From the right broken-arm, the lead does a walk-turn in one place so that they cause the follower to walk in a circle. The lead's left arm is up high so that at the end of the walk-around they can bring that arm over the follower. Follower and lead end at their starting point of the walk-around.)
123 - Lead left turn w/ left arm flare, and releases right hand hold.
(After lead does one complete turn, lead turns one more half turn and reconnects with follower's left hand with the right hand. Prep for free turn in slot.)
567 - Free, travelling inside turn.
123 - Basic.

Butterfly Walkaround

Butterfly Walkaround
Start - Reverse Cross hold.

123 - Open break, inside turn check w/ linked hands.
(After the open break, the follower is turned left and towards the lead. The lead stops the follower by keeping the right hand hold at the follower's right shoulder.)
567 - Push back follower followed by lead left turn for shadow.
(After pushing the follower back into the slot, the lead half turns left to face away from the follower. Hands are at the shoulder level but off the shoulders.)
123 - Lead side-step w/ left arm to right side.
(The lead steps to the left while bringing the arm to the right side. This will allow the follower to walk to the front of the leader.)
567 - Follower walks forward for butterfly position in front of the lead.
123 - Head loops. Left arm over to the right shoulder, release. Right arm to left shoulder, release.
567 - Outside travelling turn, pushed by lead's right hand on the left shoulder.
(Follower turns away from the lead.)
123 - Basic step.
